What you pass on becomes part of you

Good work travels through the people who choose to carry it. Every affiliate who has ever mattered has been someone whose recommendations were worth following, and someone the makers were lucky to have on their side. Dicepals is where those two sides find each other.

Careful work from people who made it with intent, brought to affiliates who choose their catalogue like they mean it, on terms that treat the reach as the real work it is.

Two doors
For affiliates

You want the work to mean something

  • You have run affiliate campaigns without believing in most of the products
  • You are tired of promoting things you would not use, would not read, would not recommend to a friend
  • The audience you have earned deserves better than what you have been sending them
  • You want your name on work you actually respect
  • You want the pay and the point in the same place
For studios

You make things you mean

  • You have spent longer than most on the work you are trying to release
  • You would rather it reach the right hundred people than the wrong hundred thousand
  • You want your product carried by people who will represent it well, not just push it out
  • You are willing to reward the reach at a rate that reflects the trust it took to bring it
  • You want to build relationships with affiliates, not manage a channel

Care does not scale, so neither do we

We do not match to fill a catalogue. Every studio in the network is here because someone in the room read the work and felt it deserved to travel. Every affiliate is here because we have watched what they carry and believed we could give them more of the same. That takes time on both sides, and time is what keeps a network small enough to still know everyone in it.

How this works

For affiliates
  1. 01Say hi and drop a link
  2. 02We study the fit
  3. 03We send you the match
  4. 04You promote it your way, we handle attribution and payments
For studios
  1. 01Show us the work
  2. 02We spend real time with it
  3. 03We introduce it to the affiliates whose audiences fit
  4. 04The work travels, you see reach and outcomes in one place

We wanted the work to mean something too

We came into affiliate work from the makers' side. We had spent years championing books, films and games we believed in, and we knew what it took to make something that lasted. What we did not have was a way to reach the people we could see doing the same on their side of the network.
The ones whose posts were worth reading, whose newsletters people opened, whose taste was a real thing you could trust. Dicepals is our attempt to close that gap. A shorter list, a smaller room, and a serious answer to what it might look like to do this well on both sides.

Straight answers

How is Dicepals different from a regular affiliate network?+
Most networks are volume operations. They will pay you to promote anything, and they measure their own success in how much you push through. Dicepals is the opposite. We stay small, choose carefully on both sides, and pay properly for reach that reflects the trust it took to earn.
What kind of products do you accept?+
Work made with real care and built to last. Books, films, games, documentaries, essays, podcasts and other cultural work whose makers stand behind it and want it carried by people who will represent it well.
What are the commissions and terms?+
They vary from partner to partner. Every arrangement is worked out between Dicepals, the partner, and the affiliate involved. We share the specifics with you once a match is on the table.
Will you change commission terms on me later?+
No. Commissions are set directly between the partner and you, and Dicepals only works with partners with a track record of honouring what they agree to.
Do I have to promote everything on my roster?+
Not at all. The roster is a shortlist we think fits your audience. What you promote, when, and how is up to you.
What if I do not have a huge audience yet?+
Reach is not the only thing we look at, and it is not the first thing either. We look at what you have chosen to point people to, how you write about it, and whether the people who read you actually listen. A small careful audience often matters more here than a large uninterested one.
How do you decide who fits?+
We read what you have written, look at what you have championed, and pay attention to how much thought has gone into what you point people to. If it is clear you take this work seriously, and there is real overlap with what we carry, that is usually enough.
How long does it take to get onto the network?+
Usually a few working days to reply, and two to four weeks to a full match. We do not rush the fit.
